Positioned in northeast Bend, Oregon, Providence Park sits just off Neff Road - a 4.3-acre green space that's been part of the community since 1991. The Bend Park and Recreation District developed it around 1997 alongside the surrounding Providence neighborhood, creating this little pocket of nature amidst suburban homes.

Features and Amenities

This cozy neighborhood park strikes a nice balance between recreational options and simple open spaces. There's plenty of grassy area where you can toss a frisbee, set up an impromptu soccer game, or just stretch out with a good book.

A gentle jogging trail circles the park's perimeter, great for when you need a quick outdoor fix without committing to a major hike. We've noticed many locals of all ages using it for their daily constitutional - it's particularly welcoming for seniors looking for a manageable walking route.

If you've got kids in tow, the playground area offers the usual suspects: slides, swings, and climbing structures. While not massive, it's got enough variety to burn off some energy before heading home.

Hoop dreams can be pursued at the half-court basketball facility - well-suited for a quick game of HORSE or some solo practice.

Parking is limited on-site, however you can usually find street parking nearby without much trouble. While it's mostly used by people from the surrounding neighborhood, visitors from elsewhere are equally welcome.

Just a heads-up: there are no permanent restrooms here, so plan accordingly.
