Back in 1984, the family of Charnel Mulligan - one of Eugene's pioneers - dedicated this cozy spot to the city. Charnel Mulligan Park is a 1.03-acre green space with a bit of local history behind it, located in Eugene's Jefferson Westside neighborhood.

2017 Transformation

Let's be honest - by 2017, this park needed some love. Thankfully, it got a proper makeover that year, addressing safety concerns and breathing new life into the space. Scattered around the park, you can find about four picnic tables - nothing fancy, but meant for a casual lunch or small gathering. Basketball enthusiasts can enjoy the court with its single hoop - ideal for a quick game of HORSE or practicing your jump shot.

If you're bringing little ones, the modern playground is definitely a highlight. It features swings and various play structures that keep kids entertained.
