Located in Eugene's Jefferson Westside neighborhood, Charnel Mulligan Park is a cozy 1.03-acre green space with a bit of local history behind it. Back in 1984, the family of Charnel Mulligan - one of Eugene's pioneers - dedicated this cozy spot to the city.

2017 Transformation

Let's be honest - by 2017, this park needed some love. Thankfully, it got a proper makeover that year, addressing safety concerns and breathing new life into the space. What You'll Find There

The park includes several recreational options. There's a generous grassy area that works perfectly as an informal field for frisbee, catch, or simply sprawling out with a good book. Scattered around the park, you can find about four picnic tables - nothing fancy, but meant for a casual lunch or small gathering. Basketball enthusiasts can enjoy the court with its single hoop - ideal for a quick game of HORSE or practicing your jump shot.

Playground Fun

If you're bringing little ones, the modern playground is definitely a highlight. It features swings and various play structures that keep kids entertained. The sand play area is particularly popular with younger children who can dig, build, and create to their heart's content. Everything is well-maintained, so you can relax while the kids play safely.
