Valencia Park

Valencia Park is a small community park located in Columbia, South Carolina. Situated in the Rosewood neighborhood on Montgomery Avenue, this 2-acre green space serves as a local recreational area for residents.

The park's primary feature is a youth baseball field, complete with a full-size concession building. Beyond the fenced-in baseball diamond, additional green space provides room for children to play and engage in various activities.

In recent years, Valencia Park has undergone renovations to enhance its facilities and appeal. A notable addition to the park is a playground apparatus installed beyond the baseball field, offering younger visitors a dedicated area for play and exercise.

The park has also become a site of cultural significance. In 2021, a new mural was unveiled at Valencia Park, highlighting Black history in Columbia. This artwork serves to educate visitors about the local community's heritage while adding visual interest to the park grounds.
