In 2023, Rotary Park stepped up its game by introducing Sioux Falls' first outdoor fitness court. This free-to-use exercise space offers additional recreation options.

The court features multiple stations designed for various bodyweight exercises that accommodate different fitness levels. You can find stationary bikes, ellipticals, and a particularly clever setup of kettlebells on stationary bars that many users find impressively functional. The space has even become a popular spot for outdoor yoga sessions - imagine downward dog with the sound of the river in the background!

The park's riverside setting creates a naturally beautiful backdrop for activities. Fishing enthusiasts can try their luck in the Big Sioux, while nature lovers will appreciate how the park integrates with the city's Greenway bike trail loop, creating easy access to other parts of Sioux Falls' park system.
