About the Location
A Neighborhood Gathering Spot
Positioned in the Old North Knoxville neighborhood, Beth Ann Booker Park offers a charming local retreat for residents and visitors alike. This community space, previously known as Old North Knoxville Park, has become a valued part of the neighborhood landscape.
A Heartfelt Tribute
The park bears the name of Beth Ann Handshy-Booker, a treasured local resident who called Old North Knoxville home for over two decades. After Beth lost her courageous battle with cancer in January 2022, the community chose to honor her memory and contributions by renaming this special place after her.
