Harriet Tubman Park

Harriet Tubman Park is a neighborhood park located in East Knoxville, Tennessee. Spanning 4.36 acres, the park serves as a vibrant focal point for the surrounding communities and is situated just west of the Vine Middle School campus.

The park offers a peaceful atmosphere with Harriet Tubman Creek running through it and mature trees providing ample shade. It features a mix of recreational facilities and open spaces, catering to various activities and age groups.

Originally known as Preston Street Park, it was renamed Harriet Tubman Park on April 22, 1975, in honor of Harriet Tubman, the renowned abolitionist, humanitarian, and Civil War scout.

The park is open from dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted, allowing visitors to enjoy its amenities throughout the day. Its location near Vine Middle School makes it a popular spot for students and families in the area.
