About Ten Mile Creek Greenway Park in Knoxville

Ten Mile Creek Greenway is a linear park located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Despite its name, the greenway stretches approximately 1.9 miles, offering a meandering asphalt path popular among joggers, cyclists, dog-walkers, and rollerbladers.

The greenway's starting point is situated at the east end of the Carmike Wynnsong Theater parking lot. From there, the trail passes under Interstate 40 before emerging into a wooded area. After crossing Bridgewater Road, users enter the thickly-wooded Ten Mile Greenway Park, where trees form a nearly unbroken line along the pathway.

At Walker Springs Park, the trail forks. One branch swings northwest into Kidder Lane, while the other continues east, crossing Walker Springs Road and passing underneath North Galleher View Road. The eastern branch eventually intersects with the Cavel Station Greenway, just south of Broome Road. Both trails are part of the wider Knoxville Greenway system.

The greenway provides a connection between the city and county boundaries, offering a scenic route for recreation and non-motorized transportation. It passes by Walker Spring Park, which features a 0.3-mile connector trail to the main greenway, serving as an excellent starting location for visitors.
