West View Park

West View Park is a neighborhood park located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Situated on over 5 acres, this park provides a pleasant green space for local residents to enjoy outdoor activities. The park features a paved trail known as the West View Greenway, which makes a series of loops throughout the park, offering opportunities for walking, jogging, and other forms of exercise.

In September 2022, a storybook trail was added to the park in partnership with the Knox County Public Library, enhancing the educational and recreational value for visitors, particularly families with children. This addition complements the existing playground area, providing a space for children to play and explore.

West View Park includes open spaces suitable for various activities such as frisbee throwing or relaxing on the lawn. The park's design aims to serve the community by offering a mix of recreational facilities and natural surroundings within an urban setting.

Future plans for West View Park include connecting the greenway to the Middlebrook and Liberty Street Greenways, which are also planned to be linked to the Third Creek Greenway. This expansion will integrate West View Park into a larger network of green spaces in Knoxville.
