Paramount Park

Where It's At & How Big

At the corner of SW 35th Avenue and Fleetwood Drive in Amarillo, Texas, Paramount Park spreads across a generous 8.5 acres. It's just the right size - spacious enough for all sorts of activities without ever feeling like you're bumping elbows with everyone, even when the park is hopping.

What You'll Find There

This neighborhood haven comes with all the essentials you'd expect. Kids can burn off energy at the playground or hop on the swingset, while the picnic areas make perfect spots for family lunches or casual hangouts. If you're feeling active, check out the sports facilities, especially the tennis court - it gets plenty of use from locals but there's usually room for a game if you're itching to play.

Getting Moving

Looking for a place to stretch your legs? The walking paths here are solid choices for a casual stroll or morning jog. Dog owners particularly appreciate the open space - it's become something of an unofficial meetup spot for local pups and their humans. With plenty of room to spread out, you can always find your own little corner of tranquility.

A Touch of Nature

Keep your eyes peeled while wandering around and you might catch glimpses of local wildlife going about their day - a nice reminder of nature even in this urban setting.

Restroom Situation

There are restrooms available, which is always a plus for longer visits. Just note that they tend to close during the winter months, and accessibility can be hit or miss according to some parkgoers.
