Park Overview

Nestled within the Viridian master-planned community in Arlington, Texas, Arrowhead Park is a cozy 1.4-acre neighborhood space. It's located at the intersection of Parmalee Gulch Road and Isoleta Road in the Indian Hills area. While owned by Christian Fellowship Church and Indian Hills Fire District, the Evergreen Park & Recreation District handles the maintenance and leasing.

Heads up: this is a private park exclusively for Viridian residents, with signs clearly marking this restriction. If you're lucky enough to be a resident, you can enjoy the park daily from 6AM to 11PM.

Improvements and Features

The park got a nice refresh in spring 2012 with the Arrowhead Park Improvement Project, which brought in new playground equipment. This update really rounded out what was already a pleasant community space.

For Viridian neighbors, this park is a natural gathering spot - a place to breathe fresh air, stretch your legs, or simply connect with others who call this community home.

Trails and Sports Facilities

Arrowhead Park blends both paved areas and natural spaces. An asphalt trail meanders through the grounds, excellent for a morning jog or evening stroll. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the asphalt basketball pad, which offers a solid surface for shooting hoops or other court games.

Families with little ones will gravitate toward the playground area with its updated equipment, providing a safe space for kids to burn off energy. If volleyball is more your style, the park's sand volleyball court lets you dig and spike without heading to the beach.

Pet-Friendly Area

Dog owners can bring their four-legged friends to a designated section of the park, although it's worth noting this isn't a full-fledged dog park. Some community members have mentioned that clearer information about when pets are welcome would be helpful.

Ground Conditions

Just so you know, certain areas have seen better days grass-wise, with some patches worn down to bare earth. These spots can turn muddy after rain, so you might want to choose your footwear accordingly if there's been recent precipitation.
