About the Location
Trails to Explore
Winding through this green oasis is a 0.2-mile hike and bike trail that's well-suited for a quick nature fix. No matter if you're looking to get your steps in, enjoy a morning jog, or take a leisurely bike ride, the smooth, even path makes it accessible for everyone. There are exercise stations along the way, so you can mix up your routine with some strength training or stretching.
Natural Beauty
One of the things that makes Treepoint special is its natural areas that have been preserved to keep local plants and wildlife thriving. At 14.1 acres, this neighborhood park gives you room to breathe and disconnect, with the trail surrounded by enough greenery to make you forget you're in the middle of Arlington. It's not huge, but it's just enough nature to refresh your spirit during a busy week.
Picnic Spots
When hunger strikes or you're planning a get-together, the park offers picnic areas with grills. There are two picnic tables available, plus a larger picnic section with a grill for those weekend cookouts. Next to these areas, you'll come across an open field that's meant for spreading out a blanket, flying kites when the breeze picks up, or just lounging around with friends and family.
Fun for Families
If you're bringing little ones along, they'll gravitate toward the colorful playground that seems to have been updated fairly recently. It's suitable for kids of all ages, but toddlers especially seem to love it. Parents and grandparents will appreciate the ample shade around the playground - a lifesaver during those hot Texas days.
Beyond the playground, there are practice fields where you can kick a ball around or let your dog burn off some energy in the open grassy spaces. It's nothing fancy, but it's exactly what you need for impromptu games or just letting kids run wild for a while.
Practical Stuff
You'll discover drinking water fountains across the park to keep you hydrated during your visit. Dog owners, your furry friends are welcome to enjoy the walking track and open areas (just remember to clean up after them).
You should note that there aren't any public restrooms here, so plan accordingly.
Open daily from 5AM to 10PM, Treepoint Park offers a quiet, clean environment that feels like a neighborhood backyard. It's not trying to be the biggest or most elaborate park in Arlington - it's simply a thoughtful green space where you can enjoy a glimpse of outdoor life without having to venture far from home.
