Friendship Park is a 10.8-acre neighborhood park located in Dallas, Texas. Established in 1974, this park serves as a local recreational area for residents of the surrounding community. The park is situated at the north end of Lake Highlands in Dallas, north of Walnut Street and adjacent to Forestridge Elementary School.
Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a colorful native plant garden, providing an attractive entrance to the park. The main playground area features two play sets catering to different age groups. For younger children aged 2-5, there is a play set with built-in toys and a small slide. Older children can enjoy a larger play set equipped with a telescope and two slides. The playground also includes swings for both older children and babies, as well as bucket seats for spinning and spring-loaded toys for bouncing.
The park offers a mix of open spaces and shaded areas, with several trees providing dappled shade around the playground. A walking trail winds through the park, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings.
