A Century of Green in Dallas

In 1924, Emma H. Grauwyler gifted land to Dallas, and the city named it Grauwyler Memorial Park in her honor. Since 1923, that generosity has given Dallasites a century of picnics, games, and lazy Sunday afternoons across its 27.6 acres of community green space.

It's a spot where locals have long come to escape the city hustle without actually leaving the city, and that tradition shows no signs of fading.

Finding Your Way

You'll come across the park conveniently located near Lovefield Airport just off Harry Hines Boulevard. No need to circle around hunting for parking - there's plenty available, making it super accessible whether you're coming solo or with the whole crew.

Play Your Heart Out

Regardless of whether you're a serious athlete or just looking to move your body, Grauwyler has you covered. The park has well-maintained soccer fields, softball fields, and basketball courts that see plenty of friendly competition throughout the week.

Got kids with energy to burn? The playground offers a good spot for little ones to climb, slide, and make new friends. When Texas heat hits hard, the nearby splash park is popular with families, complete with shaded seating where parents can relax while keeping an eye on water-soaked fun.
