About the Location
A Bit of History
Located in Fort Worth, Texas, Bonnie Brae Park has been a neighborhood staple since 1957. The park came to life alongside what was then Bonnie Brae Elementary School - now known as the Riverside Applied Learning Center.
The park reflects the post-WWII planning philosophy, where green spaces were often placed next to schools.
What You'll Find
Though modest at 2.5 acres, this little local hangout packs in plenty of outdoor options. It's become something of a neighborhood living room - a place where locals gather, kids play, and everyone can enjoy a bit of fresh air.
You can find it nestled within a residential area on Wesley Street, making it an easy walk for many nearby residents.
Taking Care of Business
The City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department keeps things running smoothly here. They've been working on some upgrades lately, including plans to replace an aging shade structure. It's nice to see the city investing in keeping this community space fresh and functional for everyone who uses it.
