Tucked away on Walnut Street, Jalonick Park might be on the smaller side, but it packs in plenty of outdoor fun for the neighborhood. It's one of those cozy green spaces that brings the community together without requiring a big trip across town.

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the softball fields where local leagues battle it out and friends gather for casual games on warm evenings. There's something special about the crack of a bat echoing through a neighborhood park. The basketball courts are fantastic for everything from serious pickup games to teaching your kids how to dribble for the first time.

Kid-Friendly Spaces

If you've got little ones in tow, the playground area offers a welcome escape from video games and screen time. The equipment sits in a well-maintained sand area where kids can dig, build, and play to their heart's content. Note that there's one outdoor restroom available - not exactly luxurious, but certainly convenient when nature calls during a long afternoon at the park.
