Positioned in West Valley City, Woodledge Park spans a comfortable 6.6 acres of public green space that's become a neighborhood go-to. The expansive informal playing field gives you plenty of room to toss a frisbee, kick a soccer ball around, or just sprawl out on the grass with a good book.

If tennis is your thing, you'll come across courts available, however they could use a little TLC (just a heads up). There's also a basketball court waiting for your next pickup game, but sometimes nature tries to reclaim it a bit between maintenance visits.

Kids can burn off energy at the play structure that's generally kept in good shape and tends to be a hit with local families. One thing to note - there aren't any swings at the playground currently, which is something many park-goers mention they'd love to see added.

Planning a gathering? The park's pavilion can host up to 60 people, making it well-suited for birthday parties or family reunions. You'll also find picnic tables scattered throughout if you're looking for a more casual setup.

Bring your cooler and some raw burgers - the barbecue grills are ready whenever you are. Nothing beats the smell of outdoor cooking on a nice day.

Getting There

You'll be happy to know the parking lot recently got a much-needed makeover from the city. Gone are the potholes that used to challenge your suspension - now pulling in and finding a spot is hassle-free.
