Great Neck Park

Great Neck Park is a 70-acre district park located at 2513 Shorehaven Drive in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Established in 1990, the park sits along the banks of Lynnhaven Bay, offering visitors scenic views and a variety of recreational opportunities.

The park features wooded areas with walking paths, allowing visitors to explore nature and enjoy the outdoors. A covered gazebo overlooking Lynnhaven Bay is a popular spot for weddings and other events, providing a picturesque backdrop for special occasions.

In addition to its natural features, Great Neck Park includes several amenities for sports and recreation. The park offers basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, and ballfields for various activities. There are also picnic areas with tables and charcoal grills, making it an ideal location for family gatherings or community events.

One of the park's newer additions is the indoor pavilion, which opened in 2023. This versatile facility can accommodate up to 120 guests and is suitable for a range of events, including wedding receptions, retirement parties, showers, ceremonies, fundraisers, and meetings. The pavilion includes an indoor meeting space, an outdoor patio, and a caterer-ready kitchen equipped with modern amenities.
