Scenic Overlook

Rich History
The park was established in 1954 when the Rucker family donated half an acre of land to the city for public use. In the early 1900s, Wyatt and Bethel Rucker built their family residence on this hill, which became the first house in what would later be known as Rucker Heights.
Over the following decades, the area gradually developed into one of Everett's most prominent neighborhoods. The park's history is closely tied to the development of Everett itself.
