The layout is thoughtfully designed, with open grassy areas meant for throwing a frisbee or spreading out a picnic blanket, alongside more dedicated spaces for organized activities. If you're looking to stretch your legs, a pleasant walking trail loops around the perimeter - ideal for a casual stroll or walking your four-legged friend.

Water Features and Play Areas

When summer temperatures rise, the park's sprayground becomes the place to be. This splash pad is a hit with families, offering a refreshing escape where kids can run through water jets and cool down. It's especially well-suited for younger children who might not be ready for a full swimming pool experience.

Right next to the water fun, you'll come across a playground with interesting climbing structures and swings that keep the little ones entertained. While it works for various ages, it seems particularly designed with children under 8 in mind. One thing to note: if your kids are slide enthusiasts, they might be disappointed by their absence here.

For convenience, portable toilets are located near the sprayground and play areas, but it's worth noting that the permanent restroom facilities have been temporarily closed.

Jefferson Park welcomes visitors daily from 6AM to 9PM, with plenty of street parking available along its perimeter. Its location just a block from the 6th Avenue business district makes it easily accessible - a neighborhood green space with both natural and recreational offerings.
