Lidford Playfield spans 9 acres at the corner of 60th Street and 44th Avenue in East Tacoma, Washington. The park features expansive open lawns that provide ample space for various sports and recreational activities.
A gravel walking loop encircles the playfields, offering visitors a convenient path for leisurely strolls or exercise. This walking path connects to the playground area, enhancing the park's navigability.
Playground
The park boasts a newly designed playground that was thoughtfully constructed with accessibility and safety in mind. Special fall surfacing ensures a safe play environment for children.
The playground also features concrete curbing that enhances both the aesthetic appeal and safety of the area. On May 7, 2022, the park celebrated the opening of this new playground with a ribbon-cutting event.
Accessibility
ADA-accessible parking is available for all visitors to Lidford Playfield. The park includes an ADA access ramp and a concrete connection linking the playground to the gravel walking loop.
