About the Location
Waterfront Location
This 120-acre regional park is located along the Columbia River, about 2 miles west of Vancouver Lake Park. Dedicated in 1997, the park offers a peaceful rural atmosphere just a short distance from downtown Vancouver.
On clear days, visitors can enjoy views of Mount Hood, Mount Adams, and Mount St. Helens in the distance.
Beach Access
The park features a wide sandy beach along the Columbia River shoreline, providing access for swimming and spectacular river views.
Trail Connectivity
A 2.5-mile paved trail connects Frenchman's Bar Regional Park to Vancouver Lake Park. This 12-foot wide shared-use path is suitable for walking, jogging, biking and horseback riding.
The trail traverses along the Columbia River, offering scenic views of the water and surrounding landscape.
Picnic Facilities
The park includes open grassy areas suitable for picnicking and recreational activities. There are picnic tables, barbecue pits, and covered picnic shelters available for visitors to use.
