Gillis Park

History and Origins

Gillis Park is a 1.5-acre public park located in the Village of Ashwaubenon, which is part of the Green Bay metropolitan area in Wisconsin. The park was developed in 1968 and named after Don Gillis, a local resident who was a strong advocate for park facilities in the area.

Don Gillis originally lived on Dorn Drive and served on the Park Board for 15-20 years, demonstrating his commitment to community green spaces.
