Park History

Set in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Christa McAuliffe Park is a memorial to Christa McAuliffe, the teacher who lost her life in the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986. The community dedicated this green space to her memory in November of that same year, creating a place where her inspirational spirit lives on.
