Fraust Park

Your Neighborhood Oasis

At 2.41 acres, Fraust Park in Madison's First Orchard Ridge Fraust neighborhood is modest in size, but it offers a peaceful escape from city life. The park's inviting grassy expanses are ideal for throwing down a blanket, tossing a frisbee, or simply soaking up some fresh air.

What You'll Find Here

When the sun gets a bit too intense, head to the park's sun shelter - an excellent spot to enjoy a packed lunch or gather with friends while staying cool in the shade. And yes, there are restrooms available, so you can comfortably extend your visit without having to rush home.

If you're bringing little ones along, they'll appreciate the play equipment where they can burn off energy and make new friends. One of the true highlights of Fraust Park is its thriving community garden, where local green thumbs transform small plots into impressive displays of flowers and vegetables throughout the growing season.

Beyond a Park

Despite its compact footprint, Fraust Park provides a nice breathing space in this urban setting. It's a place to disconnect from screens and enjoy a bit of nature without leaving the city limits.
