Junction Ridge Park

Junction Ridge Park is a 14.33-acre neighborhood park located on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities for local residents.

The park features open fields suitable for various activities, including soccer and lacrosse. These multipurpose fields are available for both casual use and organized sports. A full-sized basketball court with an asphalt surface provides opportunities for players to practice their skills or engage in pickup games, although it is not equipped with lighting for nighttime use.

For families with children, Junction Ridge Park includes a playground area, offering a space for younger visitors to play and explore. The park also has a picnic shelter, sometimes referred to as a sun shelter, which provides shade and seating for visitors. This shelter can be reserved for gatherings or used on a first-come, first-served basis when not previously booked.

The park is open daily from 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM, allowing for early morning activities and evening use. However, visitors should note that the park does not have public restroom facilities or drinking water fountains available on-site.
