Odana Hills East Park

Park Overview

Odana Hills East Park connects to the Southwest Commuter Path - a definite bonus if you're exploring Madison on two wheels. At just 2.28 acres, it may be small in size, but it functions well as a neighborhood green space along Odana Road.

Recreational Amenities

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the park's three tennis courts and a full basketball court with an asphalt surface. The courts are free to use, but keep in mind there are some cracks in the tennis court surface - nothing that should ruin your game, but worth noting if you're planning a serious match.

Got kids in tow? The playground area offers a space where little ones can burn off energy and have some fun in the fresh air.

Natural Features

While not a sprawling nature preserve, the park has its share of trees that put on quite a show during autumn. The fall colors create a beautiful backdrop that makes your tennis match or basketball game just a bit more scenic.

Visitor Information

Early birds and night owls alike can enjoy this park, as it's open daily from 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM. You won't find restrooms here, but there is drinking water available to keep you hydrated during your activities.

Getting here is easy with street parking and a nearby lot. And if you're feeling like mixing up your recreation options, there's a golf course just across the driveway.

Community Role

As one of Madison's "mini parks," Odana Hills East brings green space into a residential area. Even at its modest size, the park offers sports facilities, playground equipment for families, and a convenient bike path connection for commuters and recreational cyclists.
