About Sauk Creek Park
Play & Recreation Spots
Nestled in Madison's far west side, Sauk Creek Park spans a modest 4.21 acres of bright, sun-drenched green space. This little local park has an open field that works well for impromptu frisbee games, picnics, or just stretching out with a good book.
The basketball court is definitely a local favorite here. While it's not lit up for nighttime showdowns, the asphalt court provides a solid spot for afternoon pick-up games or practicing your jump shot. On nice days, you'll likely find neighbors shooting hoops and enjoying some friendly competition.
ADFlying Dress Photo Shoot in Madison WI
You are cordially invited to the most memorable experience of your life… You may not know this but, the most exciting thing that has happened to photography since well…photography, is happening right here in Madison! It’s your turn to indulge in a once-in a-lifetime photoshoot creating images you will cherish forever.
Family-Friendly Features
If you've got little ones in tow, the playground area is designed with them in mind. What makes this play space unique is its surface - instead of traditional mulch that finds its way into shoes and socks, this playground uses recycled tire material that's both safer for tumbles and more comfortable underfoot.
Need a bit of shade during your park adventure? The small gazebo represents a charming picnic shelter where you can catch your breath and enjoy a packed lunch. Just note that there's no electricity available, so you'll want to keep that in mind if you're planning any gatherings that require power.
Before heading out, remember that Sauk Creek Park keeps things simple - there are no restrooms or water fountains on-site. The park does provide trash cans around the grounds, so you can clean up after enjoying your time outdoors. It's a low-frills but pleasant green space in the neighborhood.
