Recreational Facilities

Hoop dreams come alive at the park's basketball court with its asphalt surface. While it doesn't have lighting for night games, it's excellent for daytime shootarounds and pickup games. If basketball isn't your thing, the multipurpose field has you covered - regardless of whether you're organizing a casual soccer match, tossing a frisbee with friends, or just need some open space to run around.

Just a heads up - Thut Park is an alcohol-free zone according to Madison General Ordinance 8.24. If you're planning a special event that calls for some adult beverages, you can request an alcohol permit through the Parks Administrative Office.
