Moeur Park

Historical Background

Moeur Park is a public recreational area located in Tempe, Arizona, at the intersection of Mill Avenue and Curry Road. The park has a long and interesting history in the city of Tempe, dating back to its establishment in 1979.

Named after B.B. Moeur, a local resident who later became the 4th Governor of Arizona, the park offers a variety of outdoor activities and amenities for visitors to enjoy.

Historically significant, Moeur Park contains structures built during the New Deal Works Projects Administration Era (WPA). These roadway, rest, and landscape elements are typical of the US Park Services style from that period, adding a touch of architectural interest to the park.

Disc Golf Course
