Hotz Park
About Hotz Park
A Bit of History
Back in 1955, Henry G. and Stella P. Hotz gifted this charming one-acre green space to the community. Located on North Palmer Avenue, this little green space offers a peaceful spot where you can reconnect with nature or simply enjoy some outdoor time.
What You'll Find Here
If you're bringing the kids along, they'll love the children's play area where they can burn off energy in a safe environment. Meandering walking paths invite you to take a leisurely stroll, fantastic for those days when you just need to clear your head.
The open fields are great for tossing a frisbee, having an impromptu soccer match, or simply sprawling out with a good book. And when hunger strikes, the picnic areas provide an ideal spot to enjoy a sandwich or gather with friends for an outdoor meal.
Local Park
Despite its modest size, Hotz Park packs in quite a lot of features, making it a treasured spot for locals. It's a pleasant neighborhood green space in the heart of Fayetteville that locals often use to meet up and socialize.
Getting Better With Age
The City of Fayetteville hasn't neglected this little park. In recent years, they've upgraded the storm drainage system, which has helped solve flooding issues in the surrounding area.
These improvements mean you can enjoy the park even after a heavy rain without worrying about muddy conditions - a small but meaningful enhancement that makes visits more pleasant year-round.
