About Fearneyhough Park

A Bit of History

Tucked away in the Park Hill neighborhood of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Fearneyhough Park is a charming little green space with an interesting past. Back in 1921, developer Justin Matthews deeded this land to the public, originally naming it Louis Altheimer Park.

The park got its current name in 2001, honoring a dedicated nearby resident who lovingly maintained this community space for many years - talk about neighborhood spirit!

What You'll Find

Sitting at the intersection of Plainview Circle and East "C" Avenue, this triangular patch of greenery is a peaceful retreat for local residents.

While it's a modest space without extensive amenities, Fearneyhough Park offers a simple, pleasant environment particularly suited for families with young children. It's one of those small but essential breathing spaces that make a neighborhood feel like home.
