Lemon Park is a 5.09-acre recreational area located on Lemon Street in Fullerton, California. Established in 1946, the park serves as a popular destination for both young and old members of the community. It is named after John Francis "Pep" Lemon, a former park superintendent who served the City of Fullerton for over 29 years.
The park features a large picnic area and athletic fields, making it ideal for mid-sized group activities. One of its main attractions is the Maple Neighborhood Center, which is housed within the park grounds. During the summer months, visitors can enjoy the spray pool, which operates daily from June to mid-August and on weekends until late September.
Lemon Park offers a variety of recreational facilities to cater to different interests. The playground area includes entertaining features such as swinging monkey bars, a zip line, and a fireman's pole, providing ample opportunities for children to play and explore. For sports enthusiasts, the park provides baseball/softball fields and basketball courts.
