Spread across 6.60 acres, Discovery Well Park is open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM - giving you plenty of time to enjoy some sunshine and fresh air.

The park features a beach-themed playground that brings coastal vibes inland. Little ones can dig into sand toys or conquer the whale structure that's excellent for climbing and sparking imaginative adventures. We appreciate how the playground thoughtfully combines sand and soft turf areas, giving children different textures to explore while giving parents options depending on how much sand they want to deal with that day.

Get Moving

Feel like breaking a sweat? The park's half basketball court is great for a quick pickup game, while the pickleball court caters to fans of this increasingly popular sport. There's also a generous grass area that's ideal for kicking around a soccer ball, tossing a frisbee, or simply sprawling out with a good book on a sunny afternoon.

When hunger strikes, you can find picnic tables and barbecue areas scattered within the grounds - great for anything from a simple sandwich lunch to a proper cookout with friends and family.

Planning an Event?

The park features two picnic shelters available for rent. Each shelter can host up to 25 people and can be reserved for up to 4 hours - ideal for birthday parties or family gatherings.

There's also a community center with a reservable room that can accommodate up to 36 people. Note that you'll need to book this space for a minimum of 3 hours. One important heads-up: the community center is currently unavailable until after May 31, 2025.

Tech-Friendly Fun

If you're into augmented reality games or geocaching, you'll be pleased to know that Discovery Well Park houses 5 PokéStops and 1 Gym - adding a digital dimension to your park experience. It's a nice touch for those who enjoy blending technology with their outdoor adventures.
