About Esplanade Park
Recreation Facilities
Located in Jurupa Valley, Esplanade Park is one of those shared retreats maintained by the Jurupa Area Recreation and Park District (JARPD). It's the kind of place where you can spend an entire afternoon without checking your phone once.
What makes this park special is its versatility. No matter if you're in the mood for shooting hoops or just want to sprawl out on the grass with a good book, there's a spot waiting for you. It accommodates everyone in the community, from energetic kids to adults looking for a peaceful moment outdoors.
Athletic Amenities
If you're feeling active, head over to the basketball courts where local pickup games often unfold, or check out the baseball field where community leagues make memories every season. Both are well-kept and nestled in this quiet neighborhood setting.
Need to clear your head? The network of walking trails meanders through the park, meant for a morning jog or an evening stroll. There's something calming about following these paths as they wind through the thoughtfully landscaped grounds.
Park Amenities
The park offers plenty of grassy areas where you can throw down a blanket and enjoy lunch under the California sky. The layout includes spaces for active play alongside quieter nooks for relaxation.
The picnic areas come equipped with BBQ pits and tables, positioned conveniently close to where the kids play (because who wants to be running back and forth?). A nice touch: these areas have power outlets available, making it so much easier when you're hosting a birthday party or family reunion.
Playgrounds
Kids' faces light up when they see the playground options here. There's a large playground for older children with enough challenges to keep them engaged, plus a separate play area designed for younger kids where the little ones can explore safely. Both areas are well-maintained, giving parents peace of mind while the children burn off energy.
Water Features
When the temperature climbs, the splash pad becomes the park's main attraction. There's nothing quite like watching kids dash through spraying water, squealing with delight on a hot day. It's a simple feature that transforms summer visits into memorable experiences.

Our professional tour guide will put your mind at ease, no need to fight La traffic, just sit back, relax and enjoy what Los Angeles & Hollywood have to offer. Some of the highlights include: Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood Sign, Griffith Observatory, Beverly Hills and much more.
Facilities
The practical stuff matters too: you'll find clean public restrooms available when nature calls. The park's shelters provide welcome shade during sunny days and protection when unexpected weather rolls in.
All in all, Esplanade Park offers a well-maintained environment in its neighborhood setting. It's a good place to connect, play, and unwind.
