Formerly known as D Street Park, Veterans Memorial Park was acquired in 1972 with assistance from Housing and Urban Development funds. The park spans approximately 97 acres, featuring rolling hills and grassy areas that provide a pleasant environment for visitors.
Facilities and Amenities
The park has undergone renovations to enhance its facilities and appeal. In recent years, it has been equipped with a 2,200 square foot healthy-themed Ontario child and family resource community center, adding to its value as a family-friendly destination.
The park also boasts two new age-appropriate playgrounds, catering to children of different age groups and abilities.

Veterans Memorial Park serves as a connector between two other local parks, Galanis Park and John Galvin Park, creating a continuous green space for the community.
