Northwood Park

Northwood Park is an 8.5-acre developed park located in Thousand Oaks, California. The park, which began its first phase of development in 2009, is situated on a hillside that offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape, including sunset vistas, the Mount Clif Ridge profile, and distant hills.

The park features a variety of recreational facilities and natural spaces. One of its notable features is a 0.4-mile rubber-surfaced jogging trail, which provides a comfortable surface for walking and running. The park also includes three fitness stations along the trail, allowing visitors to incorporate strength training into their outdoor workouts.

For those looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors, Northwood Park offers benches and picnic areas equipped with BBQ grills. These amenities make it an ideal spot for family gatherings, casual outings, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment in nature.

In 2017, further improvements were made to enhance the park's offerings. These additions included a permanent restroom facility, volleyball and basketball courts, and a playground, expanding the recreational options for visitors of all ages.

The park is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, providing ample opportunity for community members to enjoy its facilities throughout the day.
