Located in Newbury Park, California, Wendy Park is a cozy 4-acre green space that's been bringing the community together since 1979. What started as a simple land acquisition in 1973 has evolved into a favorite spot for local families, especially those with little ones in tow.

Play and Recreation

Kids can burn off energy at the playground, but you might notice some equipment showing signs of love from years of use. If you're feeling competitive, the basketball court awaits your best shots, or you can try your hand at the horseshoe pit for something a bit more laid-back.

The picnic area with its handy shelter makes this spot fantastic for family gatherings or casual weekend lunches. There's plenty of open space too, giving children room to run wild and make up their own adventures.

Natural Beauty

Sitting pretty on American Oaks Avenue, the park offers not only recreational facilities. Look up and you'll be treated to gorgeous views of Deer Ridge Open Space, with the western portion of the Los Robles Trail creating a natural backdrop. It's this blend of parkland and wilderness that gives Wendy Park its unique charm.

Good to Know

Just a heads-up that there aren't any public restrooms here, so plan accordingly. Despite this minor inconvenience, the park is generally well-kept and provides a peaceful retreat for neighborhood families.

Wendy Park falls under the care of the Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD), the folks responsible for maintaining many of the green spaces throughout the Conejo Valley.
