Packing a lunch? The covered picnic pavilion makes for a great spot to enjoy an outdoor meal, rain or shine. There are also several individual picnic tables scattered throughout if you prefer your own space. Just remember to leave the grilling equipment at home, as there aren't any grills available here.

Heads up - you'll want to plan bathroom breaks before arriving, as there are no restroom facilities on the grounds.

Recreational Options

For the more active visitors, the basketball court offers a place to shoot some hoops or play a pickup game. There's also a small ball field that's good for casual play - nothing regulation-sized, but plenty adequate for a fun family game.

The open grassy areas invite all sorts of spontaneous activities, from tossing a frisbee to simply sprawling out with a good book. Dog owners will appreciate that their leashed companions are welcome to enjoy these spaces too.

There is a drainage ditch that cuts through the park - nothing scenic, just practical infrastructure. You'll want to be careful around this area, especially when it's not frozen over, as it can get a bit slippery.
