Bellows Park

Natural Setting

Bellows Park follows Lakewood Gulch for approximately half a mile, creating a linear corridor of green space within the urban environment. Spanning 7.4 acres, this natural area offers visitors a serene setting to enjoy nature and outdoor activities.

The park serves as a natural buffer within the neighborhood, providing a peaceful retreat amidst the surrounding urban development. Its location along Lakewood Gulch contributes to local ecosystem preservation and provides habitat for various plant and animal species.

Park Features

A paved trail runs alongside Lakewood Gulch, providing an accessible path for walking, jogging, and cycling. On one side of the trail, residential houses line the hillside, while the other side borders private property for a portion of the park's length.

The park includes a science-themed picnic shelter, which adds an educational element to the recreational space. Visitors can also enjoy the whimsical metal sculptures that enhance the park's visual appeal and create points of interest along the trail.
