Historic Background

Nestled within Miami's historic MiMo District along Biscayne Boulevard, Legion Park spans a generous 37 acres of public green space. The park came into being in 1966 when the American Legion decided to sell a portion of their land to the City of Miami, giving locals a beautiful place to gather and unwind.
