Originally known as Union Park, Memorial Park has been an important part of Boise's North End neighborhood for many years. The park is divided into two sections by North 6th Street, which runs through the middle.
Its location adjacent to the Federal Building and Military Reserve near the Veterans Administration makes it easily accessible.
