Inclusive Playground

Phillippi Park features a universally accessible playground designed to accommodate children of all abilities. The playground includes equipment suitable for ages 2-12 and has bonded rubber surfacing to facilitate mobility for those using assistive devices.

One of the notable play structures is the Ten Spin, which can accommodate up to 10 children at once and provides an inclusive play experience.

Sports and Recreation

The park offers several sports facilities for visitors to enjoy. These include basketball courts, a tennis court, and a sand volleyball court, all available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For those interested in more traditional park games, there is also a horseshoe pit. The park provides open grassy areas suitable for casual sports or relaxation, as well as designated practice fields.

Dog-Friendly Area

For pet owners, Phillippi Park includes an hourly dog off-leash area. Dogs are permitted off-leash in this designated space during specific morning and evening hours, while they must be leashed at all other times.

Amenities

Amenities for picnicking and general comfort include a reservable shelter and restroom facilities. However, the restrooms and drinking fountains are closed during the winter months.

The 8.5-acre neighborhood park is maintained by the City of Boise, ensuring that the grounds are well-kept, restrooms are clean when open, and play equipment is in good condition.
