Broad Ripple Park is a 62-acre community park located on the northeast side of Indianapolis, Indiana, along the White River. Rich in history, the park has evolved from its beginnings as a riverside farm in the 19th century to an amusement park in the early 20th century, and finally to its current role as a recreational hub.
It is a cherished space, drawing approximately 150,000 visitors annually for its blend of natural beauty, historical significance, and modern amenities. Once the site of Olympic swimming trials in 1924 and 1952, it continues to preserve its legacy with a historical display in the Family Center.

The park features a wide variety of facilities and activities to cater to diverse interests. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy wooded preserves, scenic trails for walking or jogging, and a viewing platform that overlooks the White River.

Family Center
A major highlight of the park is its state-of-the-art Family Center, completed in 2023 as part of the park's master plan. The center is equipped with a gymnasium, an indoor walking track, multi-purpose rooms, and a two-story indoor play structure for children.
It serves as a hub for community programming, offering classes and events for all ages, ranging from fitness and arts to educational workshops. Pet owners are also welcomed at the paid-membership dog park, one of the busiest in the city.
