Park History
Sycamore Park, located in Wichita, Kansas, spans three parcels of land acquired in 1971 and 1972. It is a well-maintained public recreational area developed with the support of Land and Water Conservation Funds provided by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and the National Park Service.
The park covers 13.4 acres and serves as a peaceful green space for relaxation and recreation in the heart of the city.
Recreational Facilities

Sycamore Park also provides ample open space, encouraging visitors to enjoy casual activities such as frisbee or soccer. While its playground equipment was reportedly temporarily unavailable during certain periods, the park's spacious layout allows for plenty of recreational alternatives.
