History and Location

Established in 1978, this 2-acre park sits at the intersection of Brook and Oak streets in the Old Louisville neighborhood. The park provides a welcome green space for local residents and visitors.

Despite its modest size, Toonerville Trolley Park has a compact layout with most of its area nestled between surrounding houses. It maintains a peaceful atmosphere and is typically not crowded, offering a quiet retreat in a dense residential area.

The dog run consists of two 100' x 115' areas - one built over an old tennis court and another on a grassy section at the back of the park. This facility provides a safe, enclosed space for dogs to exercise and socialize off-leash.

Visitors should note that some sections of the dog park may require membership for access, though there are areas where dogs can still play freely. Dogs are required to be on leash in other areas of the park.
