History and Establishment
Originally established as the "2nd Ward Park," it was later renamed Cleveland Park, likely in honor of President Grover Cleveland. The park covers an area of 1.4 acres and is adjacent to Lucy Laney Community School, which allows for shared use of the park's facilities during school hours.
