Hiawatha School Park

Park Overview

Hiawatha School Park spans 4.04 acres in the Hiawatha neighborhood within the South Service Area of Minneapolis. The park serves as both a community recreational space and a school playground, situated adjacent to Hiawatha Elementary School.

Inclusive Playground

A highlight of the park is its playground area with equipment for children of various ages. In 2000, a state-of-the-art handicapped-accessible playground was developed, making recreation more inclusive for all visitors.

Sports Facilities
