Kenny Park

Kenny Park is a 9-acre community park located in southwest Minneapolis, Minnesota. The park serves the Kenny neighborhood and surrounding areas, offering recreational facilities for residents of all ages.

Named after Sister Elizabeth Kenny, a renowned polio treatment pioneer, the park was established in the late 1940s and has since been an integral part of the community. It is situated between Kenny Elementary School and Anthony Middle School, making it a popular destination for students and families.

The park features a mix of athletic facilities and leisure areas. Its gently sloping terrain provides natural vantage points, with a sledding hill on one side that is popular during winter months. The park underwent renovations in recent years, including playground upgrades and court resurfacing, to better serve the neighborhood's needs.
