The park is situated in the Standish neighborhood and is a key part of the city's South Service Area.

Visitors to Sibley Park can explore scenic walking paths surrounded by gardens featuring roses and wildflowers. These paths provide a tranquil setting for leisurely strolls or active walks.

Family-Friendly Amenities

A central area of the park includes updated playgrounds and tot lots, making it a favorite for families with young children. The playground received a significant upgrade in 2024, adding accessible play structures, including a long-length zipline, and preserving the park's mature trees.

The park also features a wading pool with a "zero-depth" accessible entry, though its availability may vary due to ongoing improvements.

Sports and Seasonal Activities

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the park's sports facilities, including basketball courts, a soccer field, tennis courts, and a softball field.

Seasonal activities include winter sledding on gentle slopes, ice skating on a hockey rink, and recreational skating on a second rink.

Sibley Park is home to the Sibley Recreation Center, which offers indoor amenities such as craft and meeting rooms, along with multipurpose spaces for community events. During winter, the center doubles as a warming house for skating activities.
