Highpointe Park is home to a nice mix of activity spaces that'll keep you moving or lounging - whatever your mood calls for. There's a half basketball court ideal for shooting some hoops, a sand volleyball court where you can bump, set, and spike to your heart's content, and an open playfield that's just waiting for a frisbee toss or an impromptu soccer match.

If you've got little ones in tow, the playground is sized just right for about 6-7 kids to play comfortably. Just a heads up - the slides are surprisingly fast and sit higher off the ground than you might expect, so you might want to keep an extra eye on younger children as they explore.

Paths & Natural Beauty

Need to clear your head? The park features a 0.4-mile loop gravel trail that winds around the perimeter - ideal for a quick jog, a contemplative walk, or just stretching your legs. It connects right to the sidewalk on Huntridge Drive, making it easy to access from the neighborhood.

For a touch of wilderness, take the trail west from the volleyball court. The wooded areas offer a chance to spot some local wildlife - white-tailed deer and fox have been known to make appearances if you're patient and observant.

Convenient Features

When hunger strikes, head over to the non-reservable shelter equipped with a charcoal grill. It's a wonderful setup for spontaneous picnics or casual get-togethers. The pavilion works wonderfully for intimate gatherings like small birthday celebrations or family meals in the fresh air.
